Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the problems facing the principals of public schools in Ajloun Govemorate in applying the developed curricula and to come up with suggestions and ways to address these problems.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method.

In the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, whose number is (134) male and female principals, a simple random sample was taken from the study population amounting to (75) male and female teachers.

The researcher also used the qualitative approach using the interviews tool.

The study found that the problems facing the principals of public schools in Ajloun govemorate in applying the developed curricula came to a medium degree, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic means of the sample responses on the study scale according to the variables (sex, practical experience, and educational qualification).

The results of the interviews also showed that the most prominent proposed ways to solve the problems facing school principals in applying the developed curricula are necessary Reviewing and developing public and private frameworks for academic investigations, to control the processes of integration and overlap between all curricula, and the necessity of preparing school principals well before assuming their administrative duties, and adopting special principles in preparing them, such as the principle of administrative competencies in their preparation, and in light of the results, the researcher recommended holding training courses for principals Schools continuously to help them deal with modern educational changes, and the need to give the developed curricula sufficient attention from the Ministry of Education and address the problems that may face principals in implementing them in their schools
