تحديات تطبيق التقويم الإلكتروني في مدارس التعليم الأساسي بمحافظة جنوب الباطنة في ظل جائحة كورونا (COVID-19)‎ من وجهة نظر المعلمين

Abstract EN

The study aimed to explore the challenges in implementing electronic evaluation in basic education schools under conditions of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic from the viewpoint of teachers in grades (5-12) in Al-Batinah South Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman.

in order to achieve the goals of this study, the descriptive research method was chosen.

a questionnaire was developed consisting of (46) items that cover four main domains.

the sample included (319) male and female teachers with specialists in scientific subjects and (279) male and female teachers specializing in humanities subjects.

the results revealed that the technical challenges are among the most important challenges facing the application of electronic evaluation, followed by financial challenges and then challenges related to the students and finally challenges related to teachers.

furthermore, the results revealed that there are significant differences between the views held by male and female teachers on the importance of the challenges of implementing the electronic evaluation.

on the other hand, the results indicated that there are no significant differences in teachers' views due to specialty area.

the study concluded with some recommendations to help overcome challenges in the application of the electronic evaluation in the Sultanate of Oman.
