Abstract EN

This study aims to provide a concise definition and introduction of the Azd tribe, the Bariq Governorate, and an inventory of those of lineage to Azd Bariq , the Emirate of Asir, of the Prophet's successors, their successors and the followers of their successors.

The inductive and analytical methods were strictly followed in this paper.

The study comes in an introduction, two sections and a conclusion.

The first section gives an account of Azd tribe and Bariq governorate.

The second section discusses those hailing from Aseer-Native Azd bin Bariq Lineage of Prophet's Successors and their Successors, and their Narrations in the Six Books of Hadith.

The study showed that the Emirate of Aseer enjoyed a prestigious status, highlighting the role of its people of Prophet's successors and their successors and their followers either those who had a narration in the six books, or those who did not and the way their narrations were handled.
