The research dealt with the Mauritanian Islamic movement and the stages of its formation and development.

It came with an introduction, two sections and a conclusion.

The first topic dealt with the stages of development and formation of the Islamic movement in Mauritania with three subsections.

The first, dealt with the stage of Arab-Islamic existence and interest.

The second, dealt with the stage of maturity and Islamic self-awareness.

The third, addressed the stage of formation and emergence.

The fourth addressed the stage of differentiation and polarization.

As for the second topic, it dealt with the most prominent Islamic groups in Mauritania in four subsections.

The first, dealt with the Salafi group in Mauritania.

The second dealt with the Muslim Brotherhood.

The third dealt with the Islamic left.

The fourth, dealt with the group of preaching and propagating.

Finally, the conclusion discusses the most prominent outcomes.
