The study aims to identify the environmental effects of cement factories on the residents of the residential neighborhoods of cement factories and the surrounding environment of buildings, plants, animals and facilities.

The researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach to achieve the objectives of the study.

The study concluded that there are an estimated number of residents in the residential neighborhoods of these factories who suffer from asthma, respiratory and other diseases of the airways as a result of cement dust, as well as the negative impact on soil, plants, animals and facilities.

The study also found that The relationship between respiratory diseases, allergies, asthma and the dust of cement factories in the study area is a strong direct relationship, through the increasing number of people infected with these diseases; Especially residents of areas near cement factories The study recommended some solutions and proposals to reduce the environmental impacts of cement factories on residential neighborhoods, and thus reduce the incidence of diseases resulting from them; To ward off its present and potential risks, by paying attention to expanding green spaces and improving the efficiency of furnace filters to reach the internationally permissible emissions rate of gases, and introducing engineering treatments to the mouths of chimneys to reduce the effects of dust and other toxic substances.
