Abstract EN

It is well known to scholars of rhetoric when al-Zamakhshari that he had connections and tours in the field of rhetoric, and his efforts did not stop at what was presented by previous scholars, but he excelled in many of his views, especially when he dealt with scientific investigations of meanings and statement, then we find him linking rhetorical components and semantic components, This appears when analyzing rhetorical evidence, as he is not satisfied with stating its components, but rather looking at the semantic meaning of this situation in which it was mentioned.

Hence his keenness to highlight the rhetorical and semantic aspect of the vocabulary and structures of the Holy Qur’an.

In this research, we will try to highlight the extent of Zamakhshari’s application of these rhetorical and semantic aspects.
