Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the level of perceived organizational support, and altruistic behavior, and to verify the correlation between them, as well as to identify any differences in perceived organizational support and altruistic behavior, according to the variables of gender and education.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a scale of perceived organizational support and altruistic behavior and administered it to the study sample which consisted of (105) male and female secondary school teachers in the city of Rahat in the Negev.

The study results showed that the level of perceived organizational support scored a high degree, and the level of altruistic behavior scored a very high degree.

The results also showed a positive correlation between perceived organizational support and altruistic behavior, and that there were no differences in perceived organizational support and altruistic behavior, according to gender and academic qualifications.
