Abstract EN

The purpose of this current study is to determine the validity and the reliability of the relationship scales questionnaire (RSQ), which was designed by griffin and Bartholomew (1994), on the Algerian environment.

this questionnaire was translated to Arabic by Boumazouza (2016), and this translated version was applied to a sample of 445 students from the university of Algiers and the university of Medea of both sexes.

the results of the study that are linked to the validity of the scale have revealed signs of high and notable internal consistency between the items and their dimensions and also between the dimensions and the overall degree of the scale.

from the study of the factor analysis of the scale, it became clear that there are, in fact, four factors, which corresponds to the scale divisions.

the scale has shown a significant accuracy in regards to the discriminatory validity, and the results indicate high and significant stability through the split-half reliability method and the Cronbach's alpha method.
