Semiotics is an interpretative act that deals with systems of signs and their many dimensions, be it semantic, textual or any other ; as well as how these signs are produced, how they function, and how they are received.

as a result, it has proven to be highly effective in analyzing Advertising discourse through its many approaches and theories.

narrative semiotics is one of the most important of the aforementioned approaches ; it dealt with discourse in general, and the functioning of narrative texts in particular.

this paper investigates the possibility of examining advertising through the use of narrative semiotics.

this is achieved by applying the approach on the commercial advertisement of the “dishwashing liquid life plus” ; which is based on a fantastic narrative approach in its presentation of the product.
