Forensic linguistics is considered one of the most recent applied disciplines in the field of language, and in this research we will discuss the definition of forensic linguistics in terms of its origin and development, the areas of its use and its application in its various disciplines, where the identity of criminals is determined by studying the evidence and linguistic environments recorded or accompanying the occurrence of crimes and audio voicepriant which is the basis for it.

this stud y also shows the reality of forensic linguistics in the Arab world, and work to motivate Arab linguists and officials in the judicial departments to enter this vital and important field and contribute with their solid knowledge and experience in forensic linguistics to develop this science for the benefit of the nation and humanity as a whole.
