This study aims to investigate and learn about the way to apply quality in higher education institutions by identifying higher education, its objectives and functions.

it also identifies the concept of higher education quality, the reasons for its accreditation, and its axes.

furthermore, this work sheds light on the different requirements, mechanisms and steps of applying quality in higher education and its most important challenges.

finally, some recommendations and solutions are provided for higher education reform.
