Abstract EN

The present research aims at knowing to what extent did Islamic architecture pay attention to the psycho-architectural spaces through the architectural material heritage that include buildings and castles.

the focus is on the different elements of these spaces which include physical conditions (verification, control for humidity and temperature, control of noise, lightening and sun light control), in addition to using colors, gardens and green spaces.

to achieve this aim, the researcher relied on a descriptive-analytic approach.

the following results were obtained : -Islamic architecture took a great effort in trying to make salient the psycho-architectural spaces through the creation of different tools and methods.

-the use of colors can be considered a sign that Islamic agriculture payed attention to the aesthetic aspects of the psycho-architectural spaces.

-gardens and other types of green spaces are yet another sign that Islamic agriculture highlighted the importance of psycho-architectural spaces.
