The study aims at explicitly disclosing some major foundations which the Islamic governing system rests upon in an attempt to provide a response to the research problem formulated as such: What is the nature of the Islamic governing system? Through exposing a variety of political elements innate in the system itself and that constitute an indeniable indication of its civil nature and character such as power separation, independence of legislation branche, political freedom, political opposition and the right to rebel against unjust authority, which all constitute a manifest confirmation of the Islamic governing system civil nature.
