Abstract EN

The issue of Syrian refugees is receiving great international attention in view of the implications thereof, either for refugees who escaped from Syria in search of security and hope for a better future, or for the countries of refuge, namely the European countries, which received gigantic numbers representing the largest since the end of World War II.

In light of which, the aim of this research paper is to endeavour shedding light on the different European attitudes on the Syrian refugee crisis in Europe; meanwhile, we alike seek to uncover the determining factors of such attitudes, and look for solutions to this issue that equilibrate the interests of the host countries on the one hand, and the interests of Syrian refugees on the other hand, in accordance with the international laws and regulations.
