Abstract EN

The present study aims to find out the reality of using psychological tests to diagnose autism disorder among clinical practitioners (psychologist-speech therapists and doctors), in Ain Temouchent.

to achieve the study goal, the descriptive method was based on a questionnaire prepared by the researchers, that was applied to a sample study of (90) practitioners.

after processing the data using the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS), the study produced the following results : -practitioners from various specialties (psychologist-speech therapists and doctors), are familiar with both ; the various tests that measure autism and all knowledge related to this disorder.

there are statistically significant differences in the use of diagnostic methods for autism disorder among practitioners which are attributable to university-level variable (bachelor-master-doctors) in favor of the bachelor's degree.

-there are statistically significant differences in the use of diagnostic methods for autism disorder among practitioners which are attributable to profession variable (psychologist-speech therapists-general medicine doctors) in favor of psychologists.

-there were no statistically significant differences in the use of diagnostic methods for autism disorder among practitioners which are attributable to seniority variable (less than 2 years-from 2 to 5 years-from 5 to 10 years-more than 10 years).

based on these findings, different topics were proposed for consideration.
