as did other theories like feminist theory, africentrism and critical race theory.

Mezirow (1923-2014) fonded his intellectual project to create comprehensive theory of adult learning.

at the centre of this theoretical project was the idea of transformation learning which provided many elaborations and extensions of his work on an ever-broader range of knowledge, such as artificial intelligence, brain chemistry and cognitive science.

and he explain that adults overcome the contradictory nature of life in post-industrial societies confronts them with series of disorienting dilemmas (traumatic) like the coronavirus 2020, the collapse of the banking industry 2008, and 11 September 2001.

it makes them rethink their perspective on life and start a new process of building meaning with a new perspective.
