This article aims to analyze the hypothesis that Morocco has an important geostrategic position that makes it a home for migrants due to its proximity to Europe ; the geostrategic dimension of Morocco plays a crucial role in choosing a migration policy with security and humanitarian dimensions since 2014.

by employing the variable of mutual security due to the border factor in managing the problem of migration and asylum as a security issue, the dilemma of the transmission of threats from the south to the north, and Morocco as a transit country to Europe, is raised if it is difficult for them to control migration flows due to the security chaos, or their lack of cooperation ; It directly affects the countries of the North, which, despite mobilizing all possibilities to control their borders, have not succeeded in stopping the waves of immigration heading to them.
