The spread of domestic violence in societies has become a global phenomenon, which has a great impact on people's lives and their stability.

due to the great importance of this research and to the individual and society, i conducted this study “family violence”, with the aim of explaining the meaning of family violence in an accurate way, its forms and divisions, and then clarifying the jurisprudential ruling on domestic violence.

explaining the causes that lead to family violence, and the effects that occur and resulting from it on the individual and society, and clarifying the most important means and methods of protection against this pathological phenomenon before it occurs, and the most important medicines, treatments and solutions to it after the occurrence.

in the conclusion, i mentioned the most important findings and recommendations of this study, and the need for concerted efforts between Sharia, law and education scholars to develop laws and legislation to eliminate the phenomenon of domestic violence, as well as the need to spread moral and educational values that protect or treat domestic violence and its causes.
