The contact of languages in the Maghreb would lead to the publication of neologicals in the written productions of Maghreb journalists.
indeed, the newspapers constitute a remarkable source of documentation in which the journalists of this geographical area appropriate the French language and allow themselves to create a good number of new lexies by resorting to different processes of lexical creation.
in this article, we are interested in French and its different practices in the North African French-speaking world through the study of terms derived by prefixation and suffixation identified in lexical inventories taken from the North African written press.

Le contact des langues au Maghreb engendrerait la parution des néologiques dans les productions écrites des journalistes maghrébins.
en effet, les journaux constituent une remarquable source de documentation dans laquelle les journalistes de cette aire géographique s’approprient la langue française et se permettent de créer un bon nombre de nouvelles lexies en recourant à différents procédés de création lexicale.
dans cet article, nous nous intéressons au français et à ses différentes pratiques dans le monde francophone maghrébin à travers l’étude des termes dérivés, par préfixation et suffixation, repérés dans les inventaires lexicaux tirés de la presse écrite maghrébine.
