This paper aims to investigate the relationship between quality of life and social sustainability by addressing the aspect of urban society, and shedding light on its theoretical framework to know its quality and importance, as it has recently become one of the most important endeavors of countries.

we relied on both, the descriptive and analytical approaches to define the concepts in order to clarify and understand the relationship of quality of life and sustainability.

in addition to identifying the urban aspect of the quality of life, where we concluded that it is one of the concepts and systems that face many obstacles at the urban level due to the multiplicity of problems across different cities of the world.
