Abstract EN

This study to examine the potential of trade between African countries and prospects for promoting regional economic integration, by highlighting many components of African economic integration and common points among countries that support the idea of integration and interdependence.

the results of the analysis indicate that there is great potential for trade between African countries that enhances and supports the success of the African continental free trade area, but despite this the region is guided by a range of challenges related to weak regional infrastructure, productivity and capacity competitiveness, which calls for efforts to overcome this.
