Abstract EN

The study aims to test the causal relationship between financial inclusion and economic growth in Egypt during the period (1980-2020), the study is based on the hypothesis of a two-way causal relationship between financial inclusion and real GDP.

the validity of the hypothesis was tested by relying on the inductive method in collecting study data, and the validity of the study hypothesis was tested using the error correction model VECM.

it was clear from the results of the study that the causal direction between financial inclusion and real GDP is bi-directional in the short and long terms, from real financial inclusion to real GDP and from real GDP to real financial inclusion.
