The governance of information systems in the public sector is of particular importance.
The objective of this article is to answer the problem of evaluating the maturity of the IT processes of the information systems department of the Ministry of National Education according to the COBIT 4.1 standard.
According to the qualitative analysis conducted with the managers of the Ministry's information systems department, the processes under study have an average maturity level of level two "reproducible" on a scale of six levels.
This means that the DSI/MEN processes exist, but in a non-formal way accentuated by the absence of a guide to manage these processes.

La gouvernance des systèmes d'information dans le secteur public revêt une importance particulière.
L'objectif de cet article est de répondre à la problématique d'évaluation de la maturité des processus IT de la direction des systèmes d'information du Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale selon le référentiel COBIT 4.

L'analyse qualitative menée auprès des responsables de la direction des systèmes d'information du Ministère en question montre que le niveau de maturité des processus étudiés ont en moyenne un niveau de maturité de niveau deux « reproductible » sur une échelle de six niveaux.
Cela signifie que les processus de la DSI/MEN existent, mais d'une manière non formelle accentuée par l'absence d'un guide pour manager ces processus.
