This study aimed to try to describe the level of both psychological pressure and professional compatibility among nurses in the interest of urgency, as well as to research the extent to which there is a relationship between the level of stress and professional compatibility among nurses, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the measures of stress and occupational compatibility were applied to a sample of 50 nurses from a group of hospital institutions in Blida state.

appropriate statistical treatment and formulation of research hypotheses have shown a high level of psychological pressure in the nurse working in the department of urgency, and in contrast it has shown a low level of professional compatibility, in addition to finding an inverse correlation between psychological pressure and occupational compatibility, meaning that the high level of stress is accompanied by a decrease in the level of professional compatibility of the nurse working in the interest of urgency.
