The literature of the field of social sciences has known complex and radical developments that touched upon the reference origins on which the various sociopolitical phenomena were based.

which if it had a role in establishing the foundations of different and multiple cognitive models that revealed major problems in defining concepts as well as the epistemological frameworks of the concepts of the state and civil society in Arab thought.

as the two concepts were built through perceptions expressed by different schools of thought, the interest was focused on knowing the history of the two concepts, defining their cognitive and ideological foundations, knowing the semantic developments they witnessed, and stopping at the theoretical stakes, ideological uses and contemporary horizons that made them more important.

in light of the major changes and transformations that the Arab world has witnessed in the past few years.
