this is in addition to the problem of translation and the intentional dimension in translating speeches.

in this research, the concept of intentionality is defined in language and heritage and in philosophical and linguistic terminology.

then it concludes with an overview of translation theories and mentions the importance of intentionality in the translation process and how it may be an important resource for the translator and translation critic alike.

then an applied part provides a model for translating a debate discourse that shows the most important aspects of intentionality.

finally, the research states the results focusing on the subject of intentionality in translating debates discourse.
