Central to this research is to indicate that regional and global organizations in their definitions and explications of food security's meaning that it aims to permanently and steadily insurance a healthy and trusted food for all people.

this paper aims as well to exhibit the importance of food security for the individual, society and the state through analyzing its dimensions and the repercussions of its fence on various security areas, then a statement of its most important components and foundations, and the mechanisms of its actual embodiment, with an Islamic approach in which the extent of Islam's care for man and its right to healthy and safety food.

and the encouragement to take reasons for developing, improving and diversifying food production, in which the historical and descriptive method are used by reminiscing the experiences of previous peoples in ways of securing food by analyzing the content of some verses from the Holy Qur'an, and some hadiths of the honorable Prophetic Sunnah.
