This research deals with waqf investment in the field of solidarity economy, which is considered one of the modern alternatives to overcoming social and economic crises in order to achieve social justice and economic balance.

the study concluded that the interest in the third sector contributes to the process of economic and human development as a sector that supports and assists the public and private sectors, and that investing waqf funds in renewable ways is a development tool provided by the Islamic economy to enhance mechanisms of social solidarity and health care and to confront poverty and unemployment.
