This research aims to clarify the effectiveness of the expressions: (as if he said, as if he was saying, as if it was said, as if you said, as if you are saying) of revealing the implications of speech, I deal with an old grammarians books, especially 'Sibawaih' book.

I found that the grammarians did not deal with the words of the speakers in terms of entities that exist in themselves, or independent of their users, but rather looked at them in terms of their relationship with (the speaker, the addressee and the context).

they did not confine themselves to the formality of grammatical structures, but rather went beyond them to taking care of the elements of the pragmatic context, and they ended up depending on the implications of the speech.
