In this article, we tried to prove Abdullah al-Aroui's marriage between what is autobiographical and what is novel, in the novel Awraq (Idris's Mental biography), especially this sub-title, which sparked controversy among critics, from his autobiographical perspective, because Abdul Laroui actually fell into a biographical crisis, intended to the mental biography, and accordingly we tried to demystify the concept of biography and its relationship to the creative work or the novel, tracing its effects in the narrative text by monitoring the life of the orphan child, and the mirror of the fragmented ego, to move then to the author's relationship with the main character.
