In this theoretical article, we propose an analysis of the cognitive treatment of implicit at the basis of a literary text comprehension and conceived as an inferential activity.
inference is the cognitive process that allows access to information that is Ent from the text but activated in long-term memory by the reader when reading the text.
we first present the notion of implicit in a text, as defined and analyzed by specialists in the field, and then we propose a synthesis of some reference works on inference in text comprehension.
finally, we anlyze the role of implicit and inference in the comprehension and interpretation of a literary text.
Abstract FRE
Quel est le role de l'implicite dans la compréhension d'un texte littéraire? Pour répondre à cette question, nous proposons dans cet article théorique une analyse du traitement cognitif de l'implicite, à la base de la compréhension d'un texte littéraire, et conçu comme une activité inférentielle.
L'inférence est le processus cognitif qui permet d'accéder aux informations absentes du texte, mais activées en mémoire à long terme par le lecteur lors de la lecture du texte.
Nous présentons tout d'abord la notion d'implicite dans un texte, telle qu'elle est définie et analysée par les spécialistes du domaine, puis nous proposons une synthèse de quelques travaux de référence sur l'inférence dans la compréhension de texte.
Enfin, nous analysonsle rôle de l'implicite et de l'inférence dans la compréhension et l'interprétation d'un texte littéraire.
