Abstract EN

This study aims to display the most important opinions that Arab and western philosophers mentioned about the proper name, especially the opinions that is related to the Arabic heritage.

these philosophers have many disputes about the proper name in which some of them deny its meaning while others have proved its meaning.

we have tried in this study to highlight a part of the evidence for that, on what each of them is based on in its idea, and the most important approaches and approaches to determining the meaning of the name of science and its referral, and what is the relationship of the name of science with its name.

the communicative process in its connotation of the reference and its connection with the characteristics of the reference to which it refers.

we also alerted us to the necessity of choosing the names of children well in light of the excessive social openness to other cultures, taking into account what suits society and its culture, and combining the heritage so that it is not forgotten and the present keeps pace with modern development.
