In this research paper, we seek to study the cultural dimensions of metamorphosis and its manifestation in the fairy tale, which is one of the most important folk races that contain cultural dimensions that work to provoke the recipient to reveal its hidden secrets.

From the story "The Old Man of Fire" as a model, by focusing on the term "fairy tale and metamorphosis", then shedding light on the cultural dimensions present in its text, which are manifested in the animal symbols employed, and reading its contents and cultural connotations.
