تعد البوابات المنطقية إسقاطا لعمليات الجبر البولياني عتاديا، فالحديث عن تصميم البوابات والدوائر الرقمية للحاسوب، يؤول إلى الحديث عن المنطق البولياني.
وعلى الرغم من أن جورج بول لم يشهد تطبيقات أفكاره المنطقية، ولم تكن له مساهمة عملية في بناء وتركيب الحاسوب، إلا أن الفضل كل الفضل يعود إليه لما حملته أفكاره من ثورة فكرية في مجال الثورة الرقمية.
من هذا المنطلق سنحاول الكشف عن مدى إسهام جورج بول في الثورة الرقمية بشكل عام، وفي بناء الحاسوب بشكل خاص.
Abstract EN
Logic gates are a projection of Boolean algebra operation in hardware.
talking about the design and digital computer circuits, leads to talking about Bolean logic.
although Paul did not witness the applications of his logical ideas, and did not have a practical contribution to the construction and installation of the field of the digital revolution.
from this standpoint, we will try to reveal the extent of George Paul's contribution to the digital revplution in general, and to building the computer in particular.
