The peaceful coexistence of the two countries today is the result of an ancient conflict.

the Algerian-Spanish relations witnessed several setbacks and crises until they reached what they are now.

after the end of the colonial period, Algeria became the center of attention, due to its strategic location and the wealth of the land.

Spain was one of the first countries to offer its partnership and services to Algeria, which did not miss the offer of friendship and welcomed it.

this coexistence had not come out of nowhere, because the history of Algeria is closely linked to the history of Spain since the expulsion of the Moors and the occupation of the Spaniards Oran and Marsa al-Kabir, and after a long time their relationship stabilized again.

they decided to cooperate and stand together to revive peace and exchange cultural and scientific knowledge, at the end, as a result these two cultures merged together.
