Abstract EN

The research presented in this paper focuses on the issue of the good loan in alms (zakat) institutions (in Algeria and elsewhere) in terms of its legitimacy and its applications.

In an attempt to expand their benefit, the alms institutions resorted to several formulas, including the good loan, in order to offer economic support for the needy segments.

By doing so, the poor or any other do not take his right of alms to spend it and wait for alms again, but through a good loan he can get an employment opportunity that makes him dispense with alms.

So, what is the legal rule for that? And does it really achieve the intended result?
