The period of the Ottoman presence in Algeria represents the most important historical stations that had a clear impact on the composition of Algerian society, and the richness and social diversity that distinguished it, its features appeared especially in customs and traditions, which reflected the ethnic, social and geographical coexistence between the local population and the expatriate elements with their diversity of Turkish, Andalusian and European.
