Resolving oil contract disputes through the arbitration system was not an easy task, Because starting the arbitration process to reach an arbitral decision to be implemented by the party against whom it was issued may encounter several problems, including what is related to the subjection of petroleum contracts to the provisions of public international law, which is called the internationalization of the dispute, Which is what happened in many arbitration cases for Arab countries, Some problems may also arise after the formation of the arbitral tribunal is completed, The most prominent of these is the problem of the extent of impartiality and independence of foreign arbitrators, Which may lead to the issuance of rulings that do not care about the interests and rights of Arab oil-producing countries.
