Insurance in the field of environmental protection and sustainable environmental security is one of the most effective mechanisms, even if only for a small part, in obtaining compensation for those affected by environmental damage.

This insurance is not a new idea, but it is a well-known system in the field of compensation for environmental damage.

However, the legal, technical and traditional foundations of this system in general are often difficult to reconcile with the specificity and nature of the environmental damage, which led many countries, especially Western countries, to create new rules of insurance.

In more accurate words, these countries have adapted the general rules of insurance so that they are in line with these environmental risks, which we will try to clarify in this study.
