Abstract EN

The endowment has developed continuously throughout the eras of the Islamic state, and is no longer limited to temples and rituals, but rather includes different types of alms and donations that are earmarked for religious, economic and social purposes.

There is no longer any civilization in the world in which the endowment has expanded and diversified, like the Arab-Islamic civilization, as it included the various needs of humans and even animals.

Endowments were confined to mosques, educational institutions, schools, corners, libraries, and students of knowledge, among other forms of endowment.

What societies need in this era is the existence of endowment institutions that handle many of the affairs of life, sponsor scientists and inventors, support the development of research, and develop innovations, especially if we know that scientific research is one of the most important pillars of the scientific and development.
