تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى قياس أثر الإنفاق العسكري على النمو الاقتصادي في دول مجموعة البريكس خلال الفترة (2021-1993) بالاعتماد على قاعدة بيانات البنك الدولي، و تقارير معهد ستوكهولم لأبحاث السلام، بالاستعانة بنموذج بانل الديناميكي، و قد توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة تأثير سلبي في الأجل القصير، و تأثير معنوي موجب في الأجل الطويل ما بين التوسع في الإنفاق العسكري و معدلات النمو الاقتصادي في دول البريكس.
Abstract EN
This study aims to measure the impact of military spending on economic growth in the BRICS countries during the period (1993-2021) relying on the world bank database and the Stockholm peace research institute report, and using the dynamic panel model, the study concluded that there is a negative influence relationship in the short term, and a positive moral effect in the long term between the expansion of military spending and economic growth rates in the BRICS countries.
