Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the effectiveness project management techniques CPM/PERT in scheduling activities related to the completion period of the doctoral project and be minimal.

To achieve this goal, the elements and steps of the research were identified in the form of PhD project activities, which we analyzed theoretically so that the period of their completion could be deduced, and then the two techniques outlined above were applied.

After a brief theoretical analysis of the steps and elements of scientific research and then translating them into activities with a duration of time, we reached some important results that can be collected in three points First: The PhD project that is considered one of the projects that requires a specific time.

Second: through our application of project management, it was possible to translate it into follow-up activities.

Third: We proved the possibility of completing the thesis in a period not exceeding two years, with a probability of 90% to complete the thesis with a simple example.

Note that the period of completion of the activities is predetermined according to the experience of each researcher, and the researcher can also identify the non-critical activities, such as bibliography or completing the article.
