Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on the importance of developing mechanisms for financing green energy projects for the transition towards a green economy as a future strategic option that guarantees countries contributing to achieving the environmental dimension of development and integrating sustainability in the financial sector.

The Algerian experience in the field of green energy and the financing of the energy transition process was also presented.

In our studies, we relied on the analytical and descriptive approach, in addition to the use of various statistical tools and indicators that contribute to supporting the conclusions reached.

The results of the study showed that investing in clean energy and developing innovative mechanisms to finance it, such as green bonds, investment funds and green loans that provide a significant percentage of green energy projects, enhances sustainability and will reduce carbon dioxide emissions and thus maintain a safe environment.

As for the Algerian experience, the results showed that Algeria has taken a set of measures to improve the integration of the environmental dimension into green projects, and it has introduced a renewable energy program, which aims to invest in and develop sustainable energy, in addition to developing new and innovative mechanisms such as the National Fund for Renewable Energies, which finances green projects.
