This article aims to highlight the relationship of the poet Abu al-Ala al-Ma'arri with the place, and the extent of its presence in his poems.

the main part of the study will be shown to us by presenting some samples of the diwan chute du Zind d'Abou Ala al Ma'arri that the place plays a role in the refinement of the talent of the poet and that it is the source of the formation of the poetic emotional experience as the first station from which all poet part, and clearly we can identify the characteristics of this formation of places of it is known to the Arab person in different spatial terms, which places the poet in the position to cancel the time from time to time.
