Abstract EN

In the present research paper, we try to break out the norm in the intellectual and cultural field related to defining the relationship between Islam and Western cinema which limit it to the context of Orientalist studies.

Rather, we will work on employing this paper in the field or specialization of Islamic studies, which has emerged as a field of knowledge that studies Islam as a system of cultural and intellectual values and standards, and the nature of the social structures that consider it as a public space.

And how did the cinema contribute to making the imagined concept of Islam, which relied in its perceptions on these studies, and how did the cultural, religious and political variables known to the Islamic world contribute to influencing the Western cinematic mind.

The Westerner, who worked to describe a model of Islam devoted to violence, intolerance and violent communication with the other in order to frame and direct Western public opinion, which is realistically embodied in the mentality of the receiver viewer.
