Abstract EN

The research endeavor of this article revolved around showing the impact of al-Qaeda on Algerian security, and the various mechanisms that Algeria used in order to confront this organization, and therefore focus was placed on the most important concepts related to the subject of the study, and the various repercussions on Algerian security were shown based on the geographical location of Algeria, especially on the southern side of the border strip, and its decision to declare war against terrorism.

as for the method, the analytical, descriptive and inductive method was used.

finally, the study concluded to prove that Algeria has made advanced strides in combating terrorism, as it has a leading regional and international position to be emulated in matters of combating.
