Abstract EN

The present study seeks to highlight the importance of the right to freedom of belief as one of the most infringed and often controversial issues over the ages, which in turn led to deadly conflicts, leading the international community to enshrine them through international and regional instruments and conventions, in order to perpetuate such strife and conflicts ; and reflecting the principle of coexistence among civilizations, cultures and interfaith dialogue.

this is already reflected in their adoption in many international and regional treaties and conventions, thereby incorporating them into states parties' national legislation ; guaranteeing the protection of this right.
