The arab public discovered reality TV programs through western television channels, to turn their last years to the private Arabchannels that were involved in this type of program by reproducing them without modifications.

Since the emergence of reality TV it has faced different positions between supporters and opponents, and criticism of its name in relation to the degree of realism; that said, the broadcast reality is far from the real daily reality of the Arab street.

In addition to the indecent scenes they broadcast as a result of the mix of the two sexes, this is seen as an intruder subject to the culture and value system of the Arab Muslim community.

We try in this article to shed some light on the Western Arab reality TV phenomenon, which has generated a lot of controversy in recent years, by listing the most important concepts related to reality TV and addressing the truth about this reality that presents this television and its impact on the moral value system in Arab Islamic society.
