Through our study we want to know the importance of environmental communication in the protection of the environment, by exhibiting the activities carried out by the direction of the environment of the wilaya of Bejaia; while going through the evaluation of environmental communication, in order to shed light on the shortcomings of field action.
The results of the study demonstrated that environmental communication is linked to the notion of sustainable development in its communication activities, which advise and try to protect and preserve the environment by aiming to change human behavior, and according to our case in practice, we have found that the environmental department carries out environmental communication by integrating the ecological aspect of sustainable development, using its means of communication to influence citizens, in order to change their bad behavior towards the environment, insisting on the importance of ecological education which can change the mentality of citizens

A travers notre étude nous voulons savoir l'importance de la communication environnementale dans la protection de l'environnement, en exhibant les activités menées par la direction de l'environnement de la wilaya de Bejaia; tout en passant par l'évaluation de la communication environnementale, afin de mettre la lumière sur les carences des actions terrain.
Les résultats de l'étude ont démontrés que la communication environnementale est liée à la notion de développement durable dans ses activités de communication, qui avisent et essayent de protéger et préserver l'environnement en visant à changer le comportement humain, et d'après notre cas pratique nous avons constatés que la direction de l'environnement procède à la communication environnementale en intégrant l'aspect écologique de développement durable, en utilisant ses moyens de communication pour influencer les citoyens, afin de changer leur comportement néfaste envers l'environnement, en insistant sur l'importance de l'éducation écologique qui peut changer la mentalité des citoyens.
