The efforts of scientists, specialists, and researchers recently led to the development of measurement and evaluation, expanding the field's knowledge base.

Measurement and evaluation have applications in many fields, including sports.

We started preparing this article by selecting some elements relevant to measurement and evaluation.

Where we explained how to evaluate according to the second generation curricula.

We also provided a useful summary of the levels of measurement and their relationship to statistical methods, then we discovered the methods of verifying the normal distribution of data and how to compare correlation coefficients and calculating chi-square test.

Finally, we highlighted the effect size, its importance, and the need for it in the research of Science and technics of physical and sports activities.
